WOMEN SAFETY

We, Indians are so obsessed with ourselves that we don't care to notice the things that take place in our society. We say that we are growing economically but what about the evil things taking over our society? What about the growing crimes against the women? In a country, where women is worshiped and praised, they are brutally raped and left to die? this how we treat women? This how we show respect to them ? 

India is man dominant country even if we fail to admit this but this a fact. In every field man dominance can be seen. But it is not due to the fact that women are less capable but instead it is because we, women are thought of as inferior, at least that is what those heinous men or should I say animals thought of the girl as.

She was an innocent girl , trying to enjoy her life. But was it her fault that she went to see a movie, was it her fault that she was accompanied by a male friend , was it her fault that she got on the wrong bus? No its was not. it was the fault of those men who thought of her as mere toy. it is their fault that she is dead now. it is their fault that her family, friends and everything will never be the same. But what shocks me the most is how little the government is affected. they say they will take steps but the question is when are these steps going to be put in action? when will the women will feel safe? maybe the answer is never. 

 Even a peon has to undergo some training or have some code of conduct when he's appointed but what about our law makers, our destiny decider, our voted so called minister, who have taken a toll on us, the common people by throwing inhuman, outrageous comments. Be it on the delhi rape victim or geetika suicide case or on women. Its high time now. Arrogance is not their's anymore. Change will happen. Is happening.

Since ancient times,Indian woman have been pillars of strength upholding traditions,values,dignity of women.Their strength has manifest itself in many ways according to the needs of the situations.Women to empower women I appeal Smt .Sheila Dikshit who was the guest of honor in our Women conference in 2005 take the initiative to make strong and strict laws for women justice.As a chief minister and... chief of Delhi admin.it is her moral,social responsibility to change the system as soon as possble.Today also women excel in every field yet violence against women still continue,.......I remember the poem we all sang together..
